Succulent Exhibition Hall was open to the public in May, 2004. It covers an area of about 800 m2, and mainly exhibits many succulent plant families and genera, like Asparagaceae, Asphodelaceae, Crassulaceae, Aizoaceae, Euphorbiaceae, and Didiereaceae. In the hall, there is Pseudobombax ellipticum reputed “No. 1 Turtle” of China, famous “Mimicry Plant” Lithops, large-scale Yucca called “Scarecrow”, Aloe in different sizes, etc. In addition to field cultivation, fully considering the ecological habits and ornamental characteristics of succulent plants, the hall also uses glass showcases for plant landscape configuration.
