After going past “Laughing Rocks”, we shall arrive at the Eternal Peace Rock Temple. The rock wall under the temple is engraved with “Heavenly Elysium”, echoing with “Laughing Rocks”, which implies the bliss of Buddhist land. Legend has it that Eternal Peace Rock Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty, but it sometimes rose but sometimes declined. It should be more accurate to say that it was built in the Ming Dynasty, but the existing building was re-established in 2008. The scenery here has long been known to ancients, as evidenced by many stone carvings inside and outside the temple.
