Hypericum monogynum: Hypericaceae, shrubs, with slender and much branched branchlets. Leaves elliptic or oblanceolate. The flowers are golden yellow and the filaments of the slender, fasciculate stamens are also brilliantly golden.
Fruiting Period: August-September
Uses: A common ornamental flower in southern gardens with beautiful foliage; the fruit and roots are used for medicinal purposes.
