Tecoma capensis: Bignoniaceae, shrubs semi-vineous or suberect. Leaves opposite, odd-pinnate. Racemes or panicles terminal, corolla funnel-shaped, orange-red, stamens and style clearly protruding from corolla.
Uses: Long flowering, brilliantly coloured flowers, applications for landscaping of planters and rocks, also often wind trimmed as hedges, or as potted ornamental plants.
