Medicinal Plant Garden

Plants with certain medical uses, and of which the roots, stems, barks, leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds or the whole plant contain chemical components capable of preventing and treating diseases, are collectively called medicinal plants. In this garden, about 350 species of medicinal plants are planted based on their growth habits and local conditions, including traditional famous medicines such as Eucommia ulmoides, Amomum villosum, Aquilaria sinensis, Santalum album and Ligustrum lucidum, traditional grass medicines in Fujian such as Iresine herbstii, Plantago asiatica, Andrographis paniculata, etc.
