The Rose Garden was built up in 1995. Scenic spots "Xiang bi feng" and “Wan hu chao tian” are in this area. A music stage in the shape of a rose petal stands in the northeast corner.
Rosaceae is an important economic family with more than 3,300 species belonging to 124 genera, which was originated from the temperate zone of the northern hemisphere. In China, we have more than 1,000 species belonging to 51 genera, including Amygdalus persica, Prunus salicina, Armeniaca mume, Malus pumila, Pyrus bretschneideri, Cerasus serrulata, Rosa chinensis, Rosa rugosa, Fragaria × ananassa and so on.
The Rose Garden has introduced nearly 100 species of Rosaceae. There is a pool in the garden surrounded by a lawn, where water lilies and other aquatic plants are heavily landscaped. The overall layout of the Rose Garden is appropriate, with some landscaping in small places and one stream running through it. In the sounds of running water, visitors may indulge themselves in the glamour of peach blossoms, the grace of Chinese rose flowers, the pride and fragrance of plum blossoms and the beauty of being in nature.
