The Rainforest covers an area of about 16 hectares. There are two of the 24 old scenic spots of Xiamen -“Zi Yun De Lu” and “Gao Du Qin Dong” and the municipal cultural relic protection unit - Qiaoxi Bridge built in Ming Dynasty in the garden.
With the original natural vegetation preserved, the garden introduced and cultivated plants with rainforest characteristics to enrich the species diversity and form rainforest vegetation with multiple phytocoenosiums and to present a rainforest picture of strangling, old stem flowering, hanging gardens and buttress root. Moreover, the “fog forest system” in the garden atomizes and sprays the tap water to make the space faint and looming, creating a both imaginary and real fantasy world.
